Graphic artist Chris Bristol has spent part of his summer adding a splash of color to the Sinclair Expressway station at Military and Clarmar Avenues. Previously there had been a flag mural at the location that had deteriorated over the last few years. Bristol was commissioned to refurbish the mural by the Fremont Avenue of Flags organization. In addition to the waving flag, there are familiar elements of Nebraska landscapes and agriculture with the additions of a grain elevator and windmill.

The Fools to play June 16
Omaha rock band, The Fools, will play the MainStreet of Fremont Concert in the Park Series Thursday, June 16, 2016, in John C. Fremont City Park. The concert is free and open to the public with kids’ activities and food vendors beginning at 6:30 p.m. and concert at 7 p.m. This week’s concert is sponsored by the Dodge County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Rotary Fremont and Nye Health Services.
