If you are wondering who has been adding splashes of color to downtown Fremont, you are probably looking for Anthony Deon Brown. Brown has been busy over the last year including adding murals behind the Corner Bar and on the east side of Fia + Belle in addition to creating smaller works on canvas.
Now Anthony Deon Brown takes his artistry to the next level with his latest mural in the alley behind the new Wine Experience at 415 N. Main St.
Brown draws his inspiration from a variety of places and then adapts it with his own style.
“I love classical art, all the traditional things, but I’m not very traditional myself,” he said.
We did a time-lapse video of some of Brown’s work over two days, or a total of three hours. Brown works fast as you can see by watching the video posted below.
Brown finished the entire wall in just a few days, adding the perfect accent to the recently opened Wine Experience.
“[Painting] is the only way I know how to communicate. You know what I mean? I’m not so good with the words, I’m not a writer, I’m not a poet. So, painting is the way I get it out.”
“I just want to paint,” Brown said.
